Technology & software

A page that runs what you do rather than describing it

Not an animation spinning on a screen but a model that genuinely runs. The most convincing form of narrative for software and technology brands.

12 demos — all live. Tick the ones you like and your list builds up below. You can also look at the full catalogue.

E69A learning modeltechnology · artificial intelligence
Click — reset the model and let it learn from scratch
This is not an animation: a small artificial neural network is being trained right now, in your browser. The coloured region is the model's decision; backpropagation runs on every frame, the error drops, and the boundary bends until it learns to separate the two clusters. The shortest way for a software or technology brand to say "we really do this work".
E71Route optimisationlogistics · distribution
The route improves live — crossing paths are untangled one by one
60 stops, one vehicle, the shortest tour. There are far too many possibilities for a computer to try by brute force (for 60 stops, more than the number of atoms in the universe), which is why being improved: two crossing legs are found and reversed, and the tour keeps shortening. The fuel bill of every business that makes deliveries lives inside this calculation.

WORKSHOP TIME: --:--:--
VAT TEMPERATURE: 42.0°C
MIXER: 1,450 rpm
VISCOSITY: 3,200 cP · SOFT BODY
YOUR POSITION ON THE PAGE: 0%
CURSOR: X:— Y:—
What it is for: DECORATIVE data that makes a page feel like a live instrument or laboratory. Mammut did it with a climber's GPS and heart rate — the reader felt they were on the mountain. We do it with the temperature of the vat: the visitor feels they are in the workshop. Some of the numbers are real (the clock, your scrolling, your cursor), some are atmosphere. Where: pages built around production or the lab.
E35A GPU particle army — 262,144 grainsLusion
Move the cursor — a quarter of a million pigment grains scatter
The positions of the particles are stored in a texture and updated on the graphics card. E23 had 9,000 — here there are 262,144.
E41Sound-reactive paintevent/trade fair screen
Press the button below and speak — the paint ripples with your voice
It asks for microphone permission; no audio is recorded. Where: trade fair stand screens, event walls.
E36Raymarching — liquid metalshader craftsmanship
No model, no geometry — the scene is drawn purely with mathematics
A light ray is traced for every pixel: reflection, refraction, soft shadow. Where: premium product scenes.
E37Cinematic post-processingLusion
The same scene — raw on the left, cinematic layer on the right · drag the line with your cursor
Bloom, lens chromatic shift, vignette, film grain. This layer lifts every scene in the catalogue one step up.
E50A pattern that grows by itselfreaction-diffusion

Living pattern

An organic texture growing like chemistry.

Click and drag — the pattern starts breeding from there
Two chemicals spreading and reacting (Gray-Scott). Zebra stripes, coral, a paint stain — all out of the same equation.
E30Paint inside a glass sphereLusion — glass/gel material
Real-time glass: it refracts light and warps whatever is behind it · the cursor turns it
A glass sphere with coloured drops floating inside it that really refracts light. Where: premium product presentations (FarbeLab).
E03Scrambled letter resolveKPR / Resn

Where it looks good: technology and innovation emphasis, section headings.
E02Typewriter narrationMammut Baikal

Where it looks good: brand stories, production narratives, case studies.
E13A paint playgroundChungi Yoo · Lusion
Click / drag — splash the paint 🎨
Where: 404 pages, children's and hobby brands, "playground" sections.
